Product description

Stainless steel 1.4162 (Duplex 2101) is a high-quality duplex stainless steel with high strength and excellent corrosion resistance. It is particularly suitable for use in saline and chemically aggressive environments. Compared to 304 and 316, it offers better resistance to pitting and stress corrosion. Thanks to its high strength, thinner material can often be used. It is ideal for applications in offshore, chemical, and water treatment industries and is suitable for temperatures up to approximately 300 °C. The material is well weldable when proper procedures are used and represents a durable choice for demanding industrial applications.
