Product description

RVS 1.4301/1.4307 (304/304L) UNP laser welded is an austenitic stainless steel with a favorable combination of properties, making it widely used across many applications. In the annealed condition, the material is easily formable, for example by bending, deep drawing, or pressing. It offers excellent corrosion resistance in a wide range of oxidizing environments. Due to its toughness, low thermal conductivity, and high work hardening rate, the material is only moderately machinable, but depending on thickness and welding process, it can be welded well. Common applications include household appliances, equipment in the dairy and food industry, sinks, and worktops. This grade is often dual-certified as 304L/1.4307, containing less carbon to prevent intergranular corrosion after welding.
