Product description

RVS 1.4571 (316Ti) is an austenitic stainless steel that, due to the addition of molybdenum, offers improved corrosion resistance, particularly in chloride-containing environments, compared with type AISI 1.4301. By reducing the carbon content compared with the base type 1.4401 (316L/1.4404), this grade is less susceptible to intergranular corrosion after welding. The material is easily formable, highly polishable, and combines high corrosion resistance with good toughness, while machinability is moderate to poor. This grade is used in the food and dairy industry, as well as in maritime environments, swimming pools, and architecture.
