Product description

A rolled aluminium alloy from the 5xxx series containing 4–4.9% magnesium, known for its high strength among the non‑heat‑treatable alloys. Thanks to its excellent resistance to seawater and industrial chemicals, this grade is particularly suitable for marine applications, pressure vessels, cryogenic tanks and transport structures. The alloy retains its strength after welding and offers good formability, making it highly versatile for heavy structural applications. The plates are produced by rolling, then precision milled on both sides to ensure flatness and dimensional stability, and supplied with protective foil for optimal surface quality.
