Product description

RVS 1.4462 (Duplex 2205) has a microstructure of ferrite and austenite, making it approximately twice as strong as austenitic stainless steel and providing excellent corrosion resistance, particularly against stress corrosion. The material is used in pressure vessels, offshore pipelines, heat exchangers, and chemical process installations. It is easily weldable and machinable but has limitations at high temperatures.
