Product description

This is the most widely used grade in the range of non-alloy heat-treatable steels. It is widely used in machine construction and steel construction (in both heat-treated and non heat-treated form). Heat-treating allows a reasonable level of strength to be achieved. Surface-hardening is possible in order to enhance its resistance to wear. The bright steels offer a better surface finish compared to hot-rolled material. The drawn steel also offers greater strength.
